SynopsisDark secrets always come to light... Some people might dream of inheriting a hotel somewhere as picturesque as Buckhorn, Montana. To Casey Crenshaw, though, her late grandmother's property is a white elephant to be sold as quickly as possible. The place has been boarded up for years, and locals have murmured about ghost sightings ever since a young woman was murdered there. But it's not the imaginary ghosts that worry Casey--it's the flesh-and-blood man who's throwing a wrench into all her plans. Finn James intends to find out what really happened at the hotel years ago. Not even the capable, highly independent redhead who owns it will stop him. But though the quest draws Finn and Casey together, digging into the past is dangerous, especially when there are others determined to keep the truth hidden--by any means necessary... Don't miss Under a Killer Moon, the next title in B.J. Daniels Buckhorn, Montana series where one small-town marshal will stop at nothing to catch a killer. I always enjoy reading BJ Daniels novels. This has to be one of her best yet!! Finnigan James and Casey Crenshaw meet for the first time with her pointing a pistol at his heart. What a specimen of a man!! Even though Casey was furious with him for trespassing , she could not help but admire him. Casey had come back to Buckhorn, Montana to sell her Grandmother's hotel. It had been in her family forever, but she did not want to run it. It would take much more financially than she could afford and how much business would she have in Buckhorn? She had a degree in hotel management and her present job in San Francisco was managing a hotel but she was going to sell the Crenshaw. The population of Buckhorn thought Finnigan was a homeless guy looking for a place to hang out. Little did they know he was a multimillionaire that wanted his privacy and was also looking for a murderer. Finn had read Casey's Grandmothers journals that he had found and was in awe of Casey even before he met her. In ten years she had turned out to be a beautiful woman. She had a realtor who had her a potential buyer but she had not heard from him for some time. Finn offered to buy the Crenshaw. He felt like he had to protect Casey since someone had murdered Megan and was never apprehended. All the staff had been invited to a party at the Crenshaw and Casey was unaware of it until she arrived. Finn received an invitation since he had known Megan. Highly recommended book and author. Hope you enjoy it as much as I.
