    GREAT solution to sway bar bracket failures on BMW 1997-2003 5 series

    BMW rear sway bar bracket for 1997-2003 E39 5 Series (525, 528, 530, 540, M5) This product is for all E39 BMW sedans and wagons, regardless of bar size, engine config, suspension (Sport vs Standard vs Air Leveling), wheel sizes, etc. The product looks like, installs like, function like, OE. The product is stamped steel while to factory OE part is aluminum. This product resolves the rear sway bar bracket issue of breaking at the bolt mounting tab over time. This product solves that weak link issue completely. Install: Simple. Can be done with only hand tools and a the vehicle on ramps or jack stands. NOTE: Sway Bar does not need to be removed to install. Great solution & product. I would recommend it to any and every E39 owner and repair shop looking to solve customer complaints on ...

    Good part

    Thanks for the low cost part. Note that this does create a dissimilar materials issue (steel in contact with aluminum) so this steel bracket will rust quicker than normal. However, you could replace it 3 times for the cost of the OE bracket and the steel is less likely to break under torque. So no issues for me 🙂
