I'm excited! Picked this as a late christmas present for my boyfriend hehee! It came on the first day of ETA, it was packaged with bubble wrap and extra paper. The box said "fragile" on it. It appears to be the authentic thing. I left it in the original plastic because I know my boyfriend will be excited to open it himself! The box set is in mint condition, again, with the original wrap, as it was described. I'm very happy with this seller. Suoer thankful!

    Thought Provoking and Enjoyable

This is the story about the heretofore little-known story of a dalliance between a young Salvador Dali and the Spanish poet Frederico Garcia Lorca. The story is well told. The film is both poignant and tragic. It is well written, directed and produced. The acting is also well done. Particularly the actor portraying Lorca. I found it to be a thought provoking and enjoyable film.

  • Nice and to the point

I bought the movie because of Robert Pattinson. I was hoping for more of the gay theme,it was very tastefully done, though. I did think it was a little strange that they spoke with a Spanish accent rather than in Spanish but one gets used to it. The movie was a little slow, however I didn't know anything about either one of these characters. They did a great job of acting, but like I said the storyline was a little slow.

  • Little Ashes

This is a great movie. Beautiful cinematography, super acting and a really great story. Any one who has said that Rob Pattinson can't act is an idiot. I saw Dali, not Mr. Pattinson. I highly recommend this film, but it is not for the young or homophobic. Everything about is true to life and the scene between Dali, Lorca, and Magdelana is just heartbreaking. I shed many tears at the sad situation. The writer did very detailed and painstaking research before writing the screenplay and the director got everything out of his actors that they had to give to their character's. A fine piece of cinema.

  • History of the movie***

I love Robert Paterson!! His acting his above what he's gets credit for. Very versatile very convincing.. people that are offended of the gay scenes need to re-read the plot... history of the movie hello... I guess being a man, attracted to men, I never saw through that part being I knew what I was watching.. But love scenes, whether it be man and women, man and man, women and women, I just watch the movie, the power of love chemistry is the most important. The actors were excellent!!!!
