This was way too good to pass up! The value of getting 7 season of a t.v. series for one low price was so great for this house,we don't have Netflix at our house, someone else owns the tv so we share times on it. My dvd player was going to get a heck of a workout on a rough day. It's a good addition for any collection

Best series ever
It's a great series, got hooked and do not have showtime, so as soon as I saw it was available I ordered it, can't wait for the final season to be out, I watch the entire series in 2 days. I don't watch many series shows but this is probablyy one of the best as twisted as it is, keep always keeps you wondering what's going to happen next, when is he going to get caught, how, what's going to happen next. Really don't want it to end but can't wait to see how it does. The show is dying a slow and painful death.
Hasn't anyone become tired of the poor writing nonsensical aspects of this show. Having worked with sociopaths they cannot have a life where they turn their impulses on and off. Forget what you see as entertainment. No one can have hallucinations with the clarity and cogency as Dexter does with his father. No one can kill hundreds of people while holding down a full time job and caring for a baby. The cracks would show. Sociopaths/serial killers have impulse control problems. That is why they usually live alone and why they are caught. How does Dexter always find a surrogate mother for his child? The writing has gotten so bad that we are supposed to believe that Angel's very attractive younger sister has fallen in love with Dexter's baby and doesn't care if she takes time off ... Heard about Dexter about two years ago from a friend but did not want to pay for another premium channel (Showtime) just to watch the series. About three months ago went to library and saw they had seasons 3 through 6 for checkout. Got season three and looked at all 11 episodes in 3 days. Returned to library and checked out seasons 4 - 6 and watched over the period of one week. Not wanting to wait for library to get season 7, I found and purchased it on EBAY. Like the others, I was mesmerized by the characters and "altruistic" theme - like superheroes, Dexter does something about truly evil people. What a show!
Dexter’s sister catches Dexter killing one of the criminals and she cannot wrap her head around it. We were so glad we got this after she walked in on him at the end of the 6th season! Wow!
