The instructions were clear and the assembly was not difficult. There was nothing about how much heat it can withstand, so I hope the handle doesn't get hot when the lid is down. I know it is powder-coated, so I am also hoping it is on the higher end of the heat tolerance spectrum and doesn't start do discolor.
