Bruce Lee was immortalized in his films as a martial arts master and first-class entertainer. ENTER THE DRAGON was the first martial arts film that American audiences had witnessed, and was actually produced in both Hong Kong and Hollywood. Interestingly, ENTER THE DRAGON also set the stage for non-traditional, culturally specific narratives to make their way into Hollywood.Bruce Lee plays a kung fu master recruited by a foreign government to infiltrate the island of a megalomaniac martial artist named Han. Han's bodyguard is also found to have killed Lee's sister, giving Lee a personal vendetta to fight for. The Hall of Mirrors sequence towards the end of the film is now famous, as are Lee's incredibly gymnastic martial arts abilities. This trend-setting film holds up as an entertaining, engaging action movie, more than 30 years later.

    Enter The Dragon HD-DVD

    This movie is probably THE Kung Fu Movie.....probably not the Original, but the best. I mean talk about the Coming Out and Going away party, because unfortunately Bruce was taken from us shortly after he completed the film. Not to mention his groundbreaking performances beforehand that continued to break down the walls for minorities and that continuance lives on today. The choreography was great, I believe Bruce had a hand in that himself, regardless, this is the most copied movie in Martial Arts films today and everyone pays homage to Bruce as a mentor, star and martials artist, as any basketball would pay homage to MJ, boxer to Ali and so on. Props to Bruce for bringing out Jim Kelly, although shortlived fame with Black belt Jones and John Saxon, whom we know from being a hard ass and ...

    Enter The Dragon Bruce Lee HD DVD

    Had this on VHS only, and my husband loves this movie. He really wanted it on DVD, so I got it for him. He loves the old school martial arts movies. He, I'm sure, would recommend this to anyone who loves martial arts.
