Prothane, the only way to go.
Along with wanting to replace the old rubber mounts in the 65 ImpalaSS and the hope of curing the drag link hitting the oil pan, these Prothane mounts did just that. The old mounts were worn out and one was actually broken and now, not only is the engine sitting level and tight but, the drag link is no longer hitting the oil pan when front wheels are turned all the way and, in fact the link now misses hitting the pan by 1/4"!
