The ASUSTeK Crosshair V Motherboard features compatibility with AMD Socket AM3+ multi-core processors and the AMD chipset. This gaming motherboard has been designed for high-speed gaming. The ASUSTeK Motherboard works with multiple processor types including the FX, Phenom II, Athlon II, and Sempron 100 series processors. The unit uses the AMD 990FX/SB950 and Intel Gigabit LAN. The ASUSTeK Crosshair V Motherboard supports a maximum of 32 GB of DDR2 SDRAM in dual channel memory architecture at up to 1600 MHz. The ASUSTeK Motherboard offers capability for high-definition audio, eight-channel surround sound, and support for NVIDIA 3-Way SLI and AMD 3-Way CrossFireX graphics technology. This motherboard supports multiple input and output interface types including USB 20 and 3.0 ports. This gaming motherboard includes six expansion slots with three PCI Express 2.0 x16 slots. The unit supports a series of overclocking features including ROG Connect, GameFirst, and Extreme Tweaker. The ASUSTeK Motherboard is equipped with ASUS Fan Xpert to prevent overheating. Other options available with this motherboard include THX TruStudio PRO and BIOS.

    Great performance, odd fit

    Love the product, exactly what I needed, my northbridge and MOSFET's are super cool. But despite this being for my exact motherboard model, I had to grind down part of the decorative logo plate to get it to fit. Kinda odd, but whatever, it works. Highly recommended.

    Crosshair V Formula-Z

    I replaced my Crosshair V Formula wi the Formula-Z, because the Formula would not work with USB devices in Windows 10. The Formula worked fine with USB in Windows 7 though. I really like the MOBO. It’s fast with my 8-core AMD CPU & has lots of places to tweak the performance. Highly recommended.

    I waited for sometime to buy this product, as In the past it was a bit on the expensive side... It's probably the top board for the AMD platform as it has all the bells and whistles you can ask for on a mother board. LOTS OF PORTS, and supports the fastest chip of the AMD FX line which most boards do not do. Supports the fastest DDR 3 2400 Memory sticks.. and SLI's at least 3 SLI graphic cards HD audio TOO!!! For and AMD pro choice I'm for this board even if you do not option the FX9590 chip the boards qualities are what your looking for in a high end motherboard!!!
