Just about perfect, best portable solar panel ever, just the right size and weight
It’s hard to believe how far solar panel technology has come these last few years, the EcoFlow 220W portable double-sided is just about perfect for my use in every way. As an overlander and family base camper mainly, the 220W is not too big and not too small. It weighs just under 20 lbs which is easy enough to carry around for short distances to set up for sun capture. Once it’s open however it is difficult to reposition, and I highly recommend to fully collapse it before trying to move it or redirect it, because it could get damaged that way. I collapse it so that I can get a proper solid grip , then I move it or reposition it. I am also considering to get EcoFlow’s automatic repositioning system which positions the panel around for you. I was getting 150-180W without doing anything ... It’s hard to believe how far solar panel technology has come these last few years, the EcoFlow 220W portable double-sided is just about perfect for my use in every way. The panel arrived well packed and included an XT60i connector. I've used it a few times this spring in temperatures from 40 to 70 degrees and it work
The panel arrived well packed and included an XT60i connector. I've used it a few times this spring in temperatures from 40 to 70 degrees and it works very well. I'm currently using it to charge my Ecoflow River Max and it's delivering 189 watts, or about 86% of it's lab rated power, which is excellent and expected. I've actually seen it go as high as 210 watts for brief periods! Its sturdy and well built. I'm taking off a star because the case/kickstand system to hold it up is utter JUNK.The panel arrived well packed and included an XT60i connector.
