Many Bloody Returns
This is a collection of vampire birthday stories. Some of the best in the genre were challenged to bring their versions of how their characters might celebrate this day. Fans of True Blood (Sookie Stackhouse) will find "Dracula Night". A Sookie Stackhouse story (written by Charlaine Harris) that has Sookie joining Eric and Pam and other supes at Fangtasia to celebrate Dracula's Birthday. There's the sidesplitting humor as Eric, Pam and Sookie banter back and forth while awaiting the possible arrival of the celebrity Count. Excellent Short Stories
I'll give this book a 5 all over. There were a few lame stories, but the great stories far and above made up for them. What happens when you defy vampire law in your town? What happens when you make beauty cream out of a vampire's ashes? What do you get a vampire for her birthday? Ranging from do gooders to monsters the vampires in this book will have you laugh, cry, feel anger and just have fun. I usually don't agree with book critics, but for once I find I like the same book they did - usually I think we're talking about two different books! Even though I've said I wasn't reading anymore vampire novels - I did read this one and enjoyed it.I'll give this book a 5 all over. A must read if you love vampire stories with a touch of humor.
This is a great anthology. It is humorous vampire stories about birthdays. This has a great selection of authors and is a great way to taste a bit of authors you may not have delved into before. I finished it in two days and loaned it to my daughter to read knowing that she would love it too.

great title but a bit misleading
i bought this book because i love charlaine harris' stories. i was disapointed that there was only one short story in this book from her. the other stories were good but they just dont grab you and pull you in like her stories do. next time i will pay a little more attention to what i'm buying. but in the end it was an ok book all together.
