Product Information

9. Panzer-Division was formed in January 1940 from 4. Leichte-Division. It took part in the campaign in the west fighting in the Netherlands, Belgium and finally France before being transferred to Poland in September 1940. Later it took part in the campaign in the Balkans before fighting on the southern sector during the invasion of the USSR and then transferred to the central sector in October 1941 and took part in the summer offensive of 1942 and later in the fighting at Kursk. Subsequently the unit transferred to the southern sector in the fall of 1943 and took part in the fighting at the Dnieper where it suffered heavy losses. The book is illustrated with many unpublished photos.

This sellers "two day" shipping policy is baloney - it took a over five days and repeated emails before this item shipped. I almost thought I would have to request a refund from eBay. That being said, when it did ship, it was nicely packaged and arrived undamaged. I would not buy from this person again because they don't honor their own policies! I can only leave positive feedback because 1) the item DID arrive, and 2) it was as described. The rest wasn't a great experience.

I dislike complaining, but I'm unhappy with this transaction. The deck/book set, described as "like new," was mailed in such a flimsy envelope that it arrived twisted out of shape, to the point where one of the cards was stuck to exposed glue inside. I wrote to the seller about the situation but received no response. I didn't ask for a return because the price wasn't high, but even at this price I expect more care in packaging. (I have ordered other items from this seller that arrived intact.)
