    Well written show

    I had my reservations on the purchase of this show mainly due to my disdain for our current political system. I can write for hours on end about the poor decisions and back door corruption for which the American people are the collateral damage. In trying to keep an open mind and at the recommendation of my sister I decided to take a flyer on this show. To my surprise it is a well written, engaging with characters that are not annoying, yes that includes you Sam Seaborn played by Rob Lowe, and I find it to be very entertaining. For the reasonable price I paid for Season One it turned out to be a good investment. I look forward to Season Two. For anyone who is heavily interested in or exposed to the current political arena, this show may be a bit too simplistic in its idealism, however, the ...

    disappointed

    Sadly, the reason I ordered it was because a previous set of West Wing CDs I had purchased had a faulty disc #1 and I was looking to replace that disc. This set ALSO had a faulty disc #1, though the other discs seemed to work properly. Still, it was very frustrating to not be able to watch the first four episodes of the series!!

    The best political TV show ever made - IMHO

    Saw this when it first came out - outstanding acting, writing. Surprisingly & thoroughly relevant to the current administration in DC. Watching it a second time, with perhaps more pleasure than the first. The box was a little beat up by the USPS - but the disks were perfect - unlabeled - and both sides of the disks have episodes. No dropouts (so far, 2 disks into it). The disks were arranged in order in the package, and there's a colored strip that denotes the front side.
