    Great product. Great value.

    I was gifted an Epson 1400 that hadn't been used in years. Photography is my hobby. It took a while to clean the printer's rollers and the printheads, but once that was done these inks (and premium Epson paper) provided me with professional quality prints. Word to the wise: When cleaning the printheads, try to avoid using the printer's cleaning function. It uses a lot of ink. Instead, try using a syringe with windex. There's plenty of videos on youtube, and even an adapter to make that easier. (I was lucky to have a syringe that fit perfectly.)

    Careful where you purchase inki cartridges

    Light Magenta does not connect properly. This prompts me to wonder if these cartridges are somehow reconditioned for resale or may contain problems due to imperfections. Light Magenta from three similar purchases behaved exactly the same - no connectivity. As a last resort, I purchased a new authentic, single Light Magenta cartridge, and the new cartridge connected with no problem. Problem solved. I will be most careful where I purchase the so-called authentic inks in the future.
