This book features an otter family and how the mother tries to get her cubs to swim. (That happens towards the middle of the story. No lies.) Before that happens, we get treated to sights of newborn otter cubs, introduced to facts about them and even see the mother get some food for herself not far from where she lives. Plus, there are a couple of Canada geese on the 5th page. Whether that's a possible reference to the book about Canada geese in this series or not, you be the judge.
