    The Roaring 40's in L.A.

    An excellent film about LA mobster Mickey Cohen. While the film is not completely historically accurate, it's still an excellent film with plenty of Thompson Submachine gun action that would make one think you were watching a gangster film of the 1930's era. Josh Brolin and Sean Penn are excellent in their portrayal of said characters, as are the other actors including Robert Patrick (T-1000 from Terminator 2) who portrays an old school gun slinging sheriff. If you're a fan of films such as St. Valentines Day Massacre (1968) The Untouchables (1987), Mobsters (1991), Last Man Standing (1996) and Public Enemy (2009) then you will definitely love this film.
