Controled power
This is a good way to upgrade an industrial walking foot sewing machine. You can use it one stitch at a time up to regular sewing speed and switch to faster or ultra fast sewing if you want. It just doesn't allow super slow one stitch control when set on higher speeds. The instructions leave a lot to be desired. The one page sheet alludes to a brake setting screw, but does not show it in the diagram so as to find and adjust it. Servo motor to the reacue
Control of your machine is easy at any speed, whether you want to go from zero to slow, or zero to warp 2. And if your foot is off the pedal, the motor doesn’t run and waste electricity. And installation is straightforward on any machine that had the motor mounted beneath the table. And it’s not just for sewing machines, use your imagination!

Perfect Speed Control
This motor bolted right to my sewing table and now I can finesse my Singer 111W155 and control the speed easily. I love that I made the decision to go with the servo rather than a reduction pulley. I did have to get a shorter 39" V-belt so be prepared to do that.
