Great All Around Running Shoe
I've been running since my dad (a track, X Country coach of 40+ yrs) was able to bring me to all-comers meets as a young child. 35 years later, I still run and I have worn/tried just about every shoe brand under the sun and have settled on the Brooks Ghost 9 as my go-to shoe. The 9's have plenty of toe box room which is great for my middle aged spread. I used to wear a general size 7.5, but now wear a 8.5 in Brooks, though the Brooks run about a half size smaller. They have great cushion and don't take much to break in; they pretty much feel fantastic from day one. I haven't had a blister since switching to these shoes, and that's with being surrounded by hills. I tend to toe-off pretty heavily when running up hill, so that area on my soles becomes worn before my cushion deteriorates. I have three pair right currently, and am always looking for a replacement for when one wears out. I run a lot and have found a pair of shoes I love.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
