    Snap-On ratchet repair kit RKRA972

    It's nice to be able to repair an old Snappy 71-15 long handle from 1947 with this kit, even though it states this kit works for the L-710 & L-715 rats, it also works in the older 71-10 & 71-15 rats as well, minus the bushing, since the older Snap-On's used full through bushings. The bushing supplied with this kit WILL NOT fit the older 71-10 & 71-15 rats, as it is for the later "hidden bushing" rats, just as it states on the pack. The only modification that I had to make was the spring that came with the new kit, it was way too long given the heavier guage wire that was used to make it. I ultimately shortened the spring 3 coils, and that did the trick. The ratcheting action is still nice and crisp and it saves my thumb from breaking when I go to change the selector direction.     Great ratchet rebuilding kit for the 14- 1/2 inch half-inch drive snap on ratchet complete rebuilding kit not a partial the only thing I wish the kit had was the snap on emblem that one on top of the drive was not included in the kit other than that it was fine
