    Jesus Calling Journaling Devotional by Sarah Young

    This book is full of wonderful encouragement for the reader every day along with scripture passages. It's written as though Jesus is talking to the reader and it's so inspiring and uplifting. I've had this book for nearly three years and each day I read something I missed the year before.

    Jesus Calling Devotional is so special I given away 33 and use it daily.

    This little book is my favorite of the decade. I first got one three years ago when I thought I didn't have time each morning for a "quiet time". Sarah Young's mind seems to walk so in line with what I believe of Christ, that it IS like Jesus Calling. I write a bit in it each day, and at the end of the year I buy a new one. I think this devotional is so right on, I always keep an extra at home to give to a friend who needs a lift. I've given away 33 of them in three years and still get raves from the men and women who got them. This Sarah Young has a special walk and I couldn't recommend a book more.

    Make your devo time feel more personal...

    I love this devotional so much that I have bought them for gifts. This makes my morning devo time seem so much more personal.....as though Jesus is talking to ME. We must remember as we read, like the Bible, the words were God-inspired......Sarah Young was the messenger. I highly recommend reading the introduction so you understand the authors experiences, etc. and where she is coming from. I truly do believe God put these words in her heart to share... This has lines to jot down how God spoke to you that day as you meditated on the words. What great reflection later on..........If you'd like your God-time to be more personal, I think you'd like this book too!

    A wonderful daily devotional that goes one step beyond reading.

    This is a wonderful, easy to read daily devotional. She uses 2-3 scriptures each day as a base of the readings. There is also space on the page for journaling. I am not good at this but have found that after reading and thinking about what she has for each day, I actually have been compelled to write a thought or two. This is usually praise and thanksgiving as the readings are as inspirational and they are challenging. I bought 6 of these to give as gifts to a group of young moms that I am mentoring. I can't give enough positive comments about this book!! Thank you Sarah Young for writing it.

    Jesus Calling by Sarah Young

    Like other Sarah Young writings this book offers a fresh voice from the heart of God to encourage and comfort the reader. The readings are very in tune with my daily life and I really look forward to reading this each day. This is my new favorite book and I've given 3 as gifts; all have been well recieved and offered similar feedback...5 STARS! One of those is being used as the daily devotional reading in a homeless shelter. In my opinion anyone who is seeking to know and relate to the Lord Jesus would enjoy this book.
