Hayao Miyazaki's CASTLE IN THE SKY is a rousing adventure that follows an orphan named Sheeta as she eludes the clutches of a secret agent named Muska while trying to discern her family's history. After her first escape from Muska, Sheeta meets up with a young boy named Pazu, whose father, a photographer, was disgraced after he took a picture of the legendary flying island of Laputa and had it dismissed as a hoax. When the two realize that a family heirloom Sheeta carries allows them to levitate, the two begin a search for the lost island, trailed by Muska, who is also searching for Laputa.

    The Castle

    Although a good movie I do not find it a movie I will watch again, like Ghost in the Shell series or Eden of the East or Spirited Away. It's just not that good. It is very heart warming and children will love it. If you have young kids and want a family movie this is it. For adults......sorry just not making it. If you want a vidieo you can watch time and again Spirited Away is the one.

    An awesome must-see-movie for people of all ages who crave adventure, steadfastness, fantasy, beautiful imagery and a lovely sound track!.

    It is exactly what I desired. It is an engaging film that tells an endearing and heart warming tale. Hayao Miyazaki carefully and almost delicately crafts the characters and then allows the viewer to join them on the most epic and suspense filled adventures. If only our world could mirror some of the creativity and compassion that are so well portrayed in Castle in the Sky. Kudos to the whole crew he created this wonderful movie.
