    I'm sure my mom had one like this!

    Pluses: mine's electric; qmom's was a hand wringer. This one has a strainer thingie to admit pulp or reject it. With the drought having caused lemon prices to soar to $1.33 per normal sized lemon in LA, I can get a whole bag of great sized lemons at my 99 cent store; squeeze them quickly, freeze the juice, defrost as necessary. I use lemon juice in everything from pad thai sauce, to lemon in tea, to salad dressings! Why didn't I get one sooner? The best product. Tip: save the rinds: (within reasonble time frame,), for lemon zest, and one half lemon rind in garbage disposal makes it smell refreshed! Badda bing!

    It's okay, but don't throw your older one out. Too many parts to break.

    Two sizes of reamers is sort of overkill. One size would work fine. The sieve for amount of pulp is also silly. You always get pulp when you squeeze. If you don't want it, strain it or use frozen juice. All this strainer is good for is catching the pits. The automatic reversal doesn't work well. It clunks its way into it. I was trying to replace my older automatic juicer, but it will stay till it breaks. This one is the backup. And, with luck, I may find another one before then.

    Little Juicer that could

    Very good price. Working so far. I worry that it is a little under powered but it reverses direction often when bogged down. Hopefully, this saves the motor. Bit of effort doing a grapefruit. Overall, great value for the money. Lite use. Commercial applications should look to a larger unit.

    Good basic unit

    This juicer works fine but it's a bit underpowered. When sqeezing grapefruit halves, for example, if you press down too hard you can actually stop the rotation. So it requires a methodical, layered process. With that in mind, it does the job. And, it's easy and fast to clean afterwords. Once you adapt to its capabilities, all is well. And, it has an affordable price point. So, thumbs up so far.
