This 159-page, full color, large format book was printed in 2000 by North Word Press of Minnesota. The preface states that the project was planned as a 15-month, 4,800-mile non-motorized attempt to circumnavigate the world's largest island. As such, the numerous photos emphasize the snowy, icy wilderness, the party of explorers and their dogs, instead of Greenland's limited distribution of towns.
