The nom de plume was especially appropriate for Clemens, reflecting both his love of the Mississippi and his wry sense of humor. I got the book, but it's a different edition. The one advertised is reddish with gold leafing, and the one I got is green with gold leafing (and no, it's not just the lighting, the cover is different too). That being said, it is still the complete unabridged works of Mark Twain, and I wasn't set on the reddish one. Would appreciate a more accurate photo or description in the listing, but for the price, I'm not going to complain too much. The book itself is in great condition ��
