    My second one I bought this year

    I love this drive. I had a 512 gb stock Samsung unit in my laptop and it failed after 1 year. I replaced it with this one because the price for such a quality item is so good. The warranty was also amazing. If I had realized it was the PRO version that had the 5 year warranty I probably would have bought that one. But the speeds on the EVO are plenty. I bought one of these a few months ago for my gaming PC build as well. The 256gb seems bare minimum but at an affordable price and the 1tb is just too expensive.

    I want to cry

    I have such SSD made in Korea and it is very good. This one is Chinese and I often freeze my computer and turn off when it reboots, it does not open windows. It just does not start, it just stands and waits, waits, waits, waits, waits, waits, and waits until I turn it off and on again. I do not recommend a good friend. It looks nice, it's black and it has a red logo, but it scared me as I read that it was made in China. Only then did I understand what was going on and I sent that SSD back. They gave me money and I'm happy.

    Fast but not as Fast as I hoped

    Bought this to replace a WD Black NVMe SSD. This drive is supposed to be 2-3x faster. I wasn't expecting to notice that much of a difference since the old drive was already pretty fast, but for some situations the Samsung actually is SLOWER. For instance it takes about 50% longer to boot up now. If I hadn't gotten a good deal on this drive I would be disappointed, but since I only ended up paying slightly more than the WD drive I have no real complaints.

    Fast drive as you expect

    The fastest is only the Pro model. Around $200 is a good price. I can't wait for 1 TB for this price. My only concern about, how long these units were used. As a system drive, it is very fast, it is unmatched. Mounted to - ASRock Z370M PRO4, it works perfectly.
