It verks!!!!! 10mW green for $10
These are good diodes. IF you can solder them properly and use the right antistatic precautions. I found that the test diode is reliable and put out about 14mW though showed signs of stress, Most of the beam is 510-530 green though has a yellow component off to one side possibly due to mentioned thermal stress or it could be a fluke. One thing I'd do is add a thermal feedback component as they are noticeably delicate and due to construction turning a InGaN/ZnSe into a non coherent though cool visible emitter is perilously easy. Blue lasers are even more delicate and UV even more so, have numerous examples of broken PS3 diodes that failed in use with internal R-UV shorts/etc though got one working! Mine has a parallel high value resistor and other components to reduce chances of diode ... These are good diodes. IF you can solder them properly and use the right antistatic precautions. I'd put this in a copper module with thermal management as this would increase chances of a long lifetime. Only the back portion needs to be copper so its something that can be milled.
