    samsung convoy sch-u640 cell phone

    good reception, good camera, very rugged, years of service with normal wear (I've never worn one out, all mine have died a violent death as in blew off the top of the car and the truck following me ran over it.) been using them since they came out, I've had three and my wife now has her fourth.

    Like having an old friend back

    I had a Samsung Convoy 1 several years ago, and then decided that I needed a smartphone. Wrong! I started calling it the aggravation phone. Way too many uploads, downloads, updates, needless apps, increased service billing. The Convoy 3 is like finding an old friend who got better with age. Better pictures, Bluetooth compatible , voice activated calls, 3 Gig. Added an SD card for more pics and music storage. AND it's about a third of the size of the aggravation phone, so I can actually get it out of my pocket when it rings. Life is good!

    Good basic phone

    Good if you don't need email and all the bells and whistles on your phone. Speaker phone can be echo-y and clarity of voice in general can be good to fair. Phones are variable and this one is no different. I've owned many of these.

    So my grandma always used a flip phone she was never ready for modern phones like I am currently using my iPhone but this phone will be great for my grandma if she ever needed a phone so if like let's say a friend of my grandma called me and I was getting annoyed of it she could just call the flip phone instead which is great so I wouldn't have to get calls every time so I'm still waiting for it to come but this will be great for my grandma.

    Good little phone

    I am getting this phone again to replace my old of the same model as I dropped that one in some water and it hasn't worked right since. I love the simplicity of the flip phone and this is my third phone of this model number. I like to keep an extra one on hand for those "just in case" moments.
