    AOK

    The Sony Remote works fine on the basic functions relating to MENU setup. Have not used other features. HOWEVER after powering on the OLD SONY BR Player it takes 10 sec to POWER ON, then another 20 sec before the remote can activate DVD OPEN, so be patient!

    Good remote well-designed well laid out there are certain things I don't like in some remotes like the location of the buttons but this one seems to have them all in the right place ,very comfortable to use

    Good Replacement

    If its not OEM I can't tell. If your buying this, I'd also recommend going on the Sony website and following the instructions to update your Blu Ray Player's Firmware before giving up on getting your movies to play.
