    I was using a twenty plus year old Webster and this is definitely an upgrade. I like the updated slang word,phrases and the boxed inserts on etymologies and language usage.

    New American Webster College Dictionary (2006)

    The book was an excellent resource with sufficient information and just the right size. I kept it readily available and in constant use, along with my thesaurus, as I wrote essays in Adult Learning English 101 class.

    I would recommend this book to college students. It is not expensive and small sized books. Easy to carry. If you don't have an access to the internet and really need to look up a word that you are not sure the meaning of, this book will definately save you, especially on the exams!
