A great little mixer with a few easily solved problems
People have complained about this nifty, reasonably priced, lightweight mixer -- because the input jacks are right beneath the volume controls. That WAS a very dumb choice by the designers but easy to fix. I simply turned the unit over, superglued four rubber bumpers on the corners of what was the top and is now the bottom and then I used my labelmaker and some 1/4" black label tape with white lettering and made a new set of labels for each control and each input as well as output and, VOILA!, the mixer is extremely easy to use. It's quiet as can be and while it comes with a plug in power supply (very lightweight), it also can be powered by 8 AA batteries (very long lasting). It does have XLR left and right channel outputs but it only has unbalanced 1/4" mic inputs plus one 1/8" aux ...
