    Standing the test of time in 2022

    Has adequate horsepower for most home computing tasks even in 2022. I have two computers using it. One has MX Linux xfce edition. Perform well with onboard video. Watching YouTube and surfing the net are fine. I have another using Windows 10 and it works fine also. Kind of reaching the end of the line tho if windows adds any more bloat. It had Windows millenium and windows did not allow the free upgrade to 10. Works fine anyway and it uses 8 gb total of ddr2--which also is supposedly obsolete. Only drawback is these used am3 processors get the pins bent easily in shipping because sellers use bubble-wrap. They are a major pain to straighten the pins with my old eyesight. Almost too hard.

    Had two pins fall out of my old CPU. Ordered this one. Paired with gtx560 ti and 2x8gb sticks of ram. Plays rocket league on max settings 1080p 100fps on average with no overclocking besides speeding up the ram once notch.

    A great upgrade for my Dell Optiplex 580

    I have been trying to improve the performance of my Dell Optiplex computer and decided that a more powerful quad core cpu was going to serve me a lot better compared to the Athlon dual core that was previously on the system. Really well packaged and everything came as expected. Pins were slight bent (as expected) but with some time and caution, I was able to finally replace my first cpu and how glad I was to be a step closer to maximizing my pc's perfomance. :)
