One improvement that could have been made is to embed a piece of harder or denser rubber into the hook so it didn't flex so much. I haven't had the opportunity to use it though. So I may be wrong. But the entire object is made out of the same rubber compound. Which is good in the sense that it is very flexible. So it will carry many different types and sizes of phones. But on the other hand, where it may need to be stiffer, it isn't.
