    Brighter, whiter, and without affecting the beam pattern

    Happy with the bulbs, though you have to go into this with your eyes open. As I expected, the LED bulbs extended a LOT further behind the headlight (in this case, an AutoPal H4 "E-code" (European beam pattern) that I'd upgraded my 1996 Jeep Cherokee with. I had to cut a hole in the sheet metal behind the headlights, to get them to fit. The rubber "protector" has to be left out as well, so only time will tell how the itty bitty little fan in the bulbs handles that environment (there's no direct water or even TOO much air intrusion). The temperature (aka "color") of the lights is spot-on - nice and white, but not "blue" like so many LED bulbs (5000k = perfection). Much better than the original (see photo). The light output (measured with a smartphone lumen app) was about 3x the old ...
