    Old but trusty

    This belongs to a very old series (ivy Bridge) of Xeon processors. Its low power consumption and the 4 available threads make it a good choice for simple servers and NAS appliances with a FCLGA1155 socket. I use it in an HPE Microserver Gen 8 for TrueNAS.

    Highly energy efficient for Pfsense
