    DeSantis Apache

    I use the DeSantis Apache daily for my 0.40 S&W M&P Shield. The holster keeps the weapon secure in a elastic pocket which covers the trigger to prevent any mishap. The lambswool cushion keeps the sharp edges from digging into your leg. I would recommend using a calf sock for added comfort. the large velcro-type pad latches securely and generally will ride all day without any adjustment. I would have liked the bottom to cover the end of the barrel like a pocket instead of open at the end, but the weapon doesn't show when your pants ride up while sitting. Never tried to run with it on but I think it would perform reasonably well. I know a lot of CCH don't like ankle holsters, but for this overweight business casual kinda guy, it is the best option. The unit doesn't print with normal slacks ...

    Perfect fit for Glock 26

    This is a replacement for my 6 year-old one. Worn 12 hours a day, every day. The Velcro was getting a little iffy. My Glock 26 fit so tight, I thought that I had ordered the wrong one. Perfect fit.

    High quality

    The Desantis ankle holster is of high quality and holds my Sig P938 securely to the ankle with no movement at all. The quick release snap works well too. I highly recommend it for carrying a backup handgun.

    Very comfortable!

    fits around my leg comfortably and I'm able to keep it from shifting by securing it with the velcro. Nice furry insides against my leg for all day comfort!
