  • ESSENTIAL !

This double album shows the essence of Cocteau Twins. Multitextured harmonies, the delicate voice of Liz Fraser and the ethereal guitars from Robin Guthrie, despite the fact that the first singles are a little bit rough, sounding like Siouxsie and the Bansheees. The first volume of the "Lullabies and Violaine" compilation shows us the beginning and the apex of their career and it's essential. Five stars ! Carlos from Brazil
