    Must read for every woman who needs love

    This is one of the best books I have ever read for women. I've read it several times over the years. We all need love and validation and many of us look in all the wrong places. This book has been instrumental in helping me learn to look within for my needs rather than to others. I think every woman needs to read this book.

    Captivating by John and Stasi Eldredge

    I bought this book on the recomendation of a Christian counsilor. For those of us ladies who have long suffered with low self-esteem and how this affects our relationships, this is a "must read"!! The authors give lots of insight on our struggles with ourselves from both the male and female perspective. Advice from a scriptural point of view is offered as well. Read and find out how God REALLY views us!! And how He wants us to see ourselves! I found out that I AM beuatiful, loved and CHERISHED!!

    The subtitle is helpful: Unveiling the Soul of a Woman

    Captivating is a good title if you have a honest understanding of how the word is used. The authors seeks to unveil the true beauty of a women as God has designed her to be. The authors also speak of the lies and falsehoods men and especially women have concerning whom a women is. I believe the author present many different insights into what God has to say about "womanhood". This book broadens what it is to be a women, what a women should be and many of the reasons why "she" is not. As I read it, it became more obvious to me how "christianity" has failed in it's roll to present women in accordance with the Scriptures and how "men" have lost what it means for a woman to be beautiful in all her many mysterious aspects.
