Extremely helpful grab bars!
I accidentally came across this grab bar about 6 years ago for my mother in-law. I have since purchased 2 more for family members. Works great and appears to hold up under 250 lb -270 lb person for over 5 years for us. This new one is also for a 260 lb person and has helped tremendously. They are adjustable in width and height. I would absolutely recommend it for support and independence.

Safety first
These bars attach with the toilet seat and make getting on and off the throne easy for anyone. They work for me while I am recovering from knee surgery. I will leave them in place. The nice thing here is they are out of the way of the function of the seat and do not pose a problem for cleaning around the base as they can be quickly removed and replaced. They do not have cross bracing so may feel a bit flimsy but they support my 230 pounds without any problems. An excellent product.
It works exactly as advertised. Installation was quite easy. At 6' 4" and 180 pounds I am very pleased with this device. It is exactly what I needed. It provides steady support while one uses arm strength to assist lifting off the toilet seat.

easy to install and worked great
This product was easy to install and worked great. I had leg surgery and wasn't allowed to place any weight on the leg. Our toilets are low and the bathroom is not set up for bars to be installed on walls. This item is only for letting yourself down to and getting up from the toilet. THe stability is for putting weight straight down on the handles. Could not have made it without these!!

Positives: This product is easy to assemble, and it is very lightweight. Negatives: It is unstable, even though it is securely bolted to the toilet. When you lean on the side bars to lower yourself onto the seat, the side bars move. Not good for an elderly person who is already unsteady; they need to grip something solid and immovable.
