The PS3 replacement hard drive works as if it were new. Very easy to install. Had my malfunctioning PS3 up and running so smoothly in under 30 minutes. The one that was malfunctioning kept making this grinding sound repeatedly and would not begin to load the game it would just stop as if it were put in sleep mode... Every game I've tested that would not run on my old one starts up immediately with this new drive. Definitely recommend
