This shifter is a little short for me (I have big feet) but may be fine for others. There was weld "dingle-berry" in where the shaft slides thru it. I had to knock it out with a small chisel before it would slide on completely. Spring loaded tip works good too!! It is made if steel and I intend to modify it to accommodate my size 13 motocross boots. For the price, ($13-$14 Total) this is a great deal!! (-:
