Affordable expensive sounding mic
Rode now has the NT1 4th gen, NT1A, NT1 signature series, and NT1 fifth generation. After listening to a comparison of all of these, the NT1 sounded more like much more expensive mics, with full body in the lower frequencies, and more neutral or smooth highs with less sibilance.
