A great for .522" Bore Conns like a 78H or 79H
The Faxx 6.5AL is hard to beat on many levels. -consistent in production which leads to consistency in playing from one to the next, great value at the price point, and are a great fit for .500" or .522" or .525" bore horn. I previously used a Faxx 6.5AL on a Conn 78H and I sold it with the horn. I have since replaced it with a Conn 80H (red bell version of the 78H) and picked this up to go with the 80H. As much as I liked the 6.5AL on the 78H, I like it even more on the 80H. The notes throughout the entire range respond very well but I have noticed the lower notes (especially pedal tones) are especially responsive. Overall, the Faxx 6.5AL is hard to beat.
