Looks good but hard to open
Knife looks good but the assisted opening is difficult to use. Found a tip on SOG website to push thumb stud up parallel to the blade that helped to open a little easier. It really hurt my thumb after repeated attempts trying to open after a few days. I even considered returning to SOG under warranty to try to get it loosened up a bit. I put the knife away for a week, let my thumb heal and tried again. A combination of a healed thumb and practice and now I can open the knife consistently - although still with more force than I would like to see. I am right handed and I can open the knife easier with my left hand. The knife seems sharp but when I tried to use it to cut off some plastic zip ties the blade wouldn't go through. I tried the same task with a Civivi Pintail with an S35 steel blade and the knife successfully sliced through the plastic. Even still, I now like the knife and will use as in my rotation as an EDC. I may try the SOG Terminus with S35 steel in the future.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
