OK for light drilling into wood and soft materials like wallboard and plastic. It's small & lightweight, great if you need to drill overhead. Its slow speed and low torque make it an inappropriate choice for metal, ceramic or concrete. Screw driving can only be regulated with the variable speed trigger because there's no torque control clutch.
