    19.2v Craftsman Li-Ion Battery

One of the two batteries that came with my Craftsman drilled failed and would not recharge. Only having one battery is a definite problem when using the drill to screw down deck boards on a large job. Due to the price being charged at Sears for a replacement battery, this left me with the decision weather to scrap a perfectly good drill or buy another . I found the battery on Ebay at an affordable price and it is the perfect replacement to keep my drill working. I ordered it and was amazed to get it in two days after placing my order. I could not have asked for getting exactly the replacement battery I needed but in that unbelievable short turn around time. Good product, great service!

  • Top critical review

Worked great for a short time

They didn't hold the charge. I was excited to get these because we thought the lithium would last longer. I only got half way around my flower garden and it died, got another one,and that didn't last either. We ordered a new charger. Haven't received that yet. So will finish this review later. The Craftsman charger we have now is for Lithium and regular batteries. Was disappointed, thought with the flies being so bad, we could get the grass cut quicker.

  • Good value.

Great price & almost perfect fit to the place where it plugs in. By almost I mean that the battery's connection socket is slightly different. There are 2 small tabs that don't allow it to be inserted into the OEM charger. I know now that is why a charger battery combo is offered. Not a problem that a pair of needle-nose pliers used to break the tabs off couldn't fix.

  • Used but mostly functional Li batteries.

All work well except one which will not take a full charge. But it works just fine regardless. These were very good price even though one might be a bit off specs. I would do it again.

  • Always been spotty

These C3/Red batteries have always had issues with showing defective when plugged into charger. 9 times out of 10 the batteries are still good but they just drain down to low to be recognized by charger. Then you have to jump off from another fully charged battery using alligator clipped wires to put enough charge into them to be recognized by charger. Look on YouTube to see how to do this. These batteries have doubled in price because Craftsman discontinued them and hopefully went to a better design.

  • Works fine after modifications.

This battery doesn't charge in my old charger. There's a piece of plastic in each of the 3 sections of the battery that won't let it go into the charger. I had to take a utility knife and cut out the plastic to get it to work. I probably wouldn't have bought it if I knew it was made in CHINA!

  • Close, but no cigar

Looks fine, fits in my drill fine, fits in my chargers fine. However, my chargers (2) seem not to recognize the batteries correctly. The red light on the chargers just keeps blinking rapidly indicating "testing." It's been testing for over a week. I expect its not charging, but don't know for sure.

  • Battery works however can't tell if it charges

The battery works well on my Craftsman tools. The battery is larger than the original Craftsman Lithium batteries. I don't know if the new batteries are more powerful or not. The main issue I have with the new batteries is with the original Craftsman battery charger. When you put the battery on the charger a red light blinks then the red light shuts off and a green light blinks until the battery is fully charged. Then the green light stays on without blinking. When I put the new batteries on the charger the red light blinks and the green light doesn't go on. I can't tell if the new batteries are charging or not.

  • Replacement battery for craftsman drill

  • As described, not enough use to determine quality

Seems to fit the tools OK and has charged for first use. Time will tell how well it holds a charge and performs.
