Bulldog keyless entry
After trying another keyless entry system which was a total failure, i decided to go ahead and try the bulldog system. The first one I tried had almost no instruction and the seller (Banggood) didn't have a clue about how to install it. After some research, I ordered the Bulldog system. When it arrived I was amazed and impressed by the amount of information that came with it. I was able to get specific data for my truck about the wires to hook up, their colors and where to find them..The minor questions I had were quickly resolved by the Bulldog Technical staff. They were not only very helpful, but pleasant and easy to work with. The final installation worked per spec with no problems. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting to install a Keyless entry system. I have worked with wiring before and think that anyone with a little wiring experience could do the job. Great bang for your buck
it didn't work, the remotes had a 2 feet transmission range providing that the car doors were open! I sent it back to the manufacturer for refurbishing. I got it back pretty quick already fixed, i just plugged up the module, because all the wiring stayed with the car, I just had sent the module and the two remotes which came back, and now works fine....I'm glad that the manufacturer stood behind his product and took care of the problem right away. Good value but directions somewhat vague. works fine, website needs updating, phone numbers don't work for tech help. charts for wiring did not go back to 1996 for my truck but used the chart for a bronco and it finally worked properly. It took some figuring out and wire testing to be able to hook it up. I did not set up the ignition disable feature as that was getting into more than having a remote for the door locks.
