    Pandemic prompted us to cut hair at home from now on

    Decided to invest in a clipper set to cut hair at home even after pandemic. A hairstylist friend recommended the Wahl brand. This clipper set is their high end one, at least for home use. We are quite pleased with the quality. It has everything that my former high stylist would use. I would prefer a bigger cape, but then it probably would not fit in the case.

    Spend a little more get better quality

    I bought two of these because they don't last. My mistake. They get really hot, the motor gets louder and louder over time. Eventually even with proper "maintenance" (cleaning/oiling blades) the blades eventually seem to get loose. I finally decided to bit the bullet and buy WAHL professional series which can cost upwards of $160 but got a good deal at about $120. Never ever had another issue again.

    Wahl Clipper Elite Pro - good stuff and worth it.

    Does what it's supposed to do, cuts hair. Has a powerful motor, sharp blades, and the length guides/attachments fit well, the included comb, scissors, "cape" worked acceptably, and the plastic carrying case is a nice touch. Basically, it has everything you need to cut hair. Instructions are basic and usable, but you can find excellent videos online that go into more detail. All in all I would recommend this to anyone looking to save money, for convenience, and cut their own hair.

    Great Product

    About 30 years ago, I purchased a Wahl electric clipper for $19.99 and began cutting my own hair. When the switch finally gave out last month, I decided to get a new pair of clippers. Given my experience with the first set, I purchased another pair of Wahl clippers. The new clippers are really nice. They work great. I wouldn't consider a different brand and I am just as happy with this purchase as I was with the previous one. If you need some hair clippers, these are great, and they're American made.

    Excellent option for home use.

    One of the biggest selling points is the set of very good combs (though no side tapers, which is mystifying) that cost $25 to $29 when sold separately. The clipper works very well. It is similar in build quality to the model my Mom used on us as kids 40 years ago and is still working today. It is advertised as having "Wahl's best motor." Well, there are 3 motors for home use that are not as good, so it may be the best motor for non-professional models. It does work well, but Wahl makes 2 superior motors it uses in its professional models. If the kit had included the side taper combs, I would have given it 5 stars.
