    Why can't all music have production values like this?

    Firstly, I'm more of a hard-rock / metal / alternative kind of guy, but I heard a couple of Joe's songs, and I do listen to pretty much all genres at different times, so I bought a CD. The first think that hit me was the quality of this recording. It's better than probably 90% of my collection. It's about as good as CD recordings can be. It's up there with "HD" super high bitrate tracks that can be obtained, but with the convenience of having the physical media. The songs are a little bit "samey". This wouldn't be a bad thing for people that love his sound, but personally I would have liked a bit more variety on the album. Would i buy again? Yes! I'll also get another album or two from the same artist to see how his sound might have changed over his career.

    Love the Blues

    Joe Bonamassa , seems like he is on mission. He is perfecting his art and we are the benefactors of his diligence. Nowadays it's hard to get ones money worth for anything , we either suffer poor quality, or or poor attitude, not with Bonamassa ,he is taking us to new levels of music . Give this CD a listen and you will agree .

    Fathers day gifts were a hit I bought two and they loved it!!

    Bonamassa,--Great Blues Rock

    I bought the CD "Blues Of Desperation by Joe Bonamassa and the music is great. I am still playing it daily. I would highly recommend this to any blues, rock fan. The dude is probably today's best guitarist.
