Have a High Time With Der Bingle!
Long before Rodney Dangerfield went "Back to School", Bing Crosby played a millionaire who enrolls as a college freshman in Blake Edwards' delightful comedy " High Time" ( as in "high time someone in this family got a college education"). Among his fellow freshmen are Fabian, Tuesday Weld, and Richard Beymer. The script is witty, and the situations amusing as Bing crams for exams, participates in student activities, and pledges to a fraternity. He also finds romance with a beautiful French professor played by Nicole Maurey, aided by the lovely song " The Second Time Around ". Charming, funny and thoroughly delightful, this gem of a movie is highly recommended!
