    Seller is merely a distributor/drop shipper for these. GTC changed their packaging and omitted the Maxi adapter and yet retained the same part number. I purchased specifically from this seller because they pictured the 6 adapter version. Apparently they either do not see the item or do not pay close enough attention to notice the packaging changed. To be fair, seller did offer partial refund, which while appreciated, does not get me the missing adapter.

    So far so good!

    Just got it and it feels like it can handle the job its meant to do. It may not work miracles like recharging a completely dead battery, but it will keep a normal battery in tip top shape. It has features that other units would charge a premium for such as alternator check, battery reconditioner and a decent engine start. IT IS NOT BATTERY OPERATED!!! IT MUST BE PLUGGED IN TO OPERATE!!! The clamps feel tight and springy, the cords have decent length and the fan makes almost no noise. Very easy to understand manual and very easy to use machine.

    Cheap clamps and cables and the cord comes out the bottom instead of the top or back so you lose cable reach. It does work, Battery reconditioning button is just silly, faster and will actually work if you take some zinc-coated wire and just scrape each strip (where theirs holes when you open the battery). You can use the car start option when not hooked up to a car to give low batteries a shot in the arm. I would go up one more class of charger if you want a good one or down one if you just want a simple 12 volt charger

    enough juice to get me going!

    Hopefully it will charge a battery in less than 12 hours. I wanted a charger that I could use in case of a low battery, especially in the winter. Something you can put on for 15 to 30 min. and get enough charge to start the car. This should do that.

    Best 25 amp Smart-Charger that I could find with a recondition function that saved me some serious dollars.
