    Product listed as used but it came new in original packaging with no signs of wear. 10/10 condition. Saved $250 off retail price of the monitor. Seller stated the item would be shipped within 24 hours and would arrive in 4 days but the item took 4 days just to ship out and 9 days to arrive. Could have been a little faster hence the $66 shipping cost but besides that I had no issues and would definitely recommend the seller. 👍

    The item was packaged fairly well, but could have had more padding around the item for stability. The antenna was broken when it arrived, but the seller compensated me for that damage. I think for the cost of shipping it could have been packaged better given that the original box did not provide much support for the item. Besides the antenna, the device arrived as described and the purchase price was a great value for the product. Very responsive seller who is willing to help you out!

    Very effective, great addition to our heating system

    These make our heating and ventilation (no AC in our house) much more efficient and effective. Our old thermostat was a Honeywell, and could only tell the temperature right where it was, in a hallway. So, useless. Now we have sensors in the house, and I can tell my Ecobee which sensors to check at which times of day -- Bedroom at night, living room and office during the day, etc. They also can detect when you are in the room, so they get more weight when people are detected than when it thinks the room is empty. As for their "quality", I can't really know until I've had them for a while. They certainly work fine now, when they're new. And for value, I was willing to spend $75 for two, but at retail price of $100 for two I would have hesitated.

    When they work they're great

    This is a great product...when it allows you to activate it. I love the Ecobee room sensor. It allows balance of temperature throughout our house. We bought a package of two. One activated just as it was supposed to. The other will not accept activation. It simply refuses. When they work they are great, but when they don't activate it's not such a good deal.

    Good not great

    These sensors seem to be accurate overall but my biggest complaint is the polling intensity. I understand there is always a trade off between battery life and functionality but the “Follow Me” feature would be so much better if these sensors refreshed more frequently than every 15 minutes. I have one sensor in the kitchen, where we will quickly run in to grab a snack or drink but then go back downstairs. Because of this, the sensor always detects upstairs as occupied, even for short trips like I mentioned. Due to the layout of our house, no other room makes sense for this sensor or I would have moved it. Overall, I’m glad I got them as they help create a temperature average between our basement and upstairs for the thermostat to shoot for but I wish the polling intensity was adjustable

    Game changer at a cost

    These ecobee temperature and motion sensors made a significant improvement in how our ecobee thermostat controls our new heat pump. We have a 3-story house and placing these additional sensors in addition to the thermostat and single sensor that came with it in two additional rooms and associating how those data should be used for home, away, and sleep has made the system far more efficient. They are much smaller that one might think from the photos and my wife even thinks they are cute. They will probably pay for themselves in the end but the initial price of $100 seems like a bit much.

    Ecobee SmartSensor Room Sensor two-pack - flawless performance

    Super little sensors do exactly what they are supposed to do - monitor and report temps in rooms where they are placed, communicating with the ecobee SmartThermostat with Voice Control in the hallway.. In its unified app, I can see at a glance the temp at the thermostat on the wall as well as the other three sensors. Smart and simple. Easy setup. Equipped with long life (five year) lithium flat cell. Ecobee "knows" when a room or room are unoccupied or occupied and operates the HVAC accordingly to attempt to provide uniform temperatures throughout the space. VERY pleased. Good price.
